This is how I spend my Sunday nights

Styx, "Babe" LOVE LOVE LOVE

Sorry for the horribleness of photos; the weather is suckish, and the tripod is always AWOL when I might possibly use it. Yea! Couldn't post today's clothing escapades because it's currently in the bathtub getting de-soggy-squishy-fied from the rain/sleet/snow we've gotten today!

_____The eye make-up reminded me of fall's marching band season, in which color guard wore lovely 80's sort of eye makeup. I must say, from the one time we tried to copy the 80's hair, those girls were crazy. That hair hurts.
_____(Pause for brief love attack for 80's)
_____Wearing: Easter egg sweater from Kohl's, shorts from "low rise" pants that could only have been considered "low-rise" before 2000 from some depths of my closet, belt from friend!, purple tights.
_____Yearning for: 60's dresses, 40's dresses, 50's dresses, um... dresses, 70's bell-bottoms, summertime and summer dresses, oxfords, every outfit Baby wore in Dirty Dancing, and less light pollution so I can see the stars.
DIRTY DANCING IS THE BEST.

Dog? WHERE?

_____Hello, wonderful probably nonexistent readers of this bloooog! I hope you'll be having a wonderful time this weekend!
_____Anywho, yesterday, I finally got around to taking a photo of my outfit! So this is what I wore yesterday:

I absolutely adored Scooby-Doo as a kid. Hey, guess what? I never stopped being a kid, either! My sweater shunned Daphne. : (

A Scooby-Doo huge t-shirt that I borrowed from my sister
A black sweater that I abducted from my mom's closet
A pink belt that I call "Daphne-esque" in my mind from an old Halloween costume (though I don't know what costume it really was) which would not stay tight
$1 black skirt
A dress that's becoming very torn up that I've had literally since I was in first grade
Favorite new DNA-stripe tights
Favorite lace-up black flats
A good attitude! The best thing of all to have.

_____Scooby-Doo is completely timeless!
_____It turns out lots of people still love Scooby-Doo in addition to me. I don't think I've ever gotten more compliments on a t-shirt than when I wore this one! I wanted to wear it again today, but decided enough was enough, and instead took out my splat-man Moab t-shirt. I need to go to Moab again, I miss it!
_____So, I hope you all (?) have a grand weekend (long for me, go me)! And a happy happy new year/day/month, you, you meddling kids, and your dog too!
