My "Laverne and Shirley pants"! I started watching a couple years ago and wanted all of their clothing! These are more '80s, but after looking for high-waisted pants I could get away with forever, I finally came across these. Heck yes, heck yes. Channeling girl power.
As expected, Utah missed out (once again) on the weather memo. It snowed yesterday. It snowed today. Four days of autumn, and Utah would have no more. Oh well.
I have three issues with the cold weather, 1) my feet are always cold, 2) my hands are always cold, and 3) I need to match my clothes. In order to accommodate my feet, I have to wear thick socks and boots or sneakers instead of my usual flats. But I don't have coats and jackets that match any of my boots, and it drives me insane! I should just invest in a nice-fitting, brown coat, and I'll be set all fall and winter.
I'm pretty sure this is usually just a girl problem.
I've been taking a Gender Communications class and it really made me realize how feminine I perform in my clothing! And that women's clothing is definitely designed for look, not utility. And I like and hate that. But hey, notice leads to change!
