Trust Me

(Always remember to click for a better picture!)

My go-to dress for all occasions is this baby. It never fails on a lazy day - like today, the official last day of school, in which I stayed home, explaining my bare feet -, a day when I'm running late, or when I have to dress up for something! Of all of my Deseret Industries finds, I think this one is my most-worn, always proving the loveliness of thrift stores to me, even though I have been a believer for quite a while.

_______I think now that I really need to figure out how to get magical sewing abilities. I took a sewing class in ninth grade, and passed perfectly fine, but we didn't do any hand sewing, which is the only thing I can do until my brother gets back my sewing machine that I let him lend a friend to make a Halloween costume. I have a little pile of things on my bedroom floor that need to be mended or revamped, and it keeps getting bigger. Sewing machine, come back! You can blame it all on me...

_______Speaking of HALLOWEEN, I'm thinking about trying out some papier mache to make a mask of the Silence.
_______...
_______Isn't anyone else here a DOCTOR WHO fan?
_______I hope so. : ) If not, please, become one of us.
_______I saw this awesome Weeping Angel costume a few months ago, and... I'm at a loss for words for how good it is! I didn't realize how much actually goes into costume making before this. Mostly this is because the most home-made costume I ever had was before kindergarten when my mom cut holes in a shiny blue pillowcase so that I could dress up as a Barbie (I still have this costume). I'm going to try to, well, actually try with my costume this year, so maybe I can get a taste of what it means to do an actual project. If not the Silence... I'll try to come up with alternatives. All I know is that if all else fails, I'll write little numerals all over my arms and face with eyeliner throughout the night with a little sound recorder.

_______Because I am a blogger fail... does anyone know how to make my photos larger without being miserable quality? Anything would be appreciated muchly.

The Doctor: You know what? This is the biggest library in the universe. So where is everyone?
[looks around]
The Doctor: It's silent...
Donna Noble: The library?
The Doctor: The planet. The whole planet.
Donna Noble: Maybe it's a Sunday?
The Doctor: No, I never land on Sundays. Sundays are boring.
